I Come With My Broken Song, To You The Perfect One // OOTD

Grey Tee: Asos
Red Hoodie (Under Denim Jacket): Topshop
Denim Jacket: Charity Shop
White Jeans: H&M
Galaxy Print Shoes: New Look
Necklace: Aeropostale

Its June. Yes, June. Apparently that means it’s summer, but sitting at my desk watching the rain trickle down the window in front of me makes me question that. I shot this outfit in-between blusters of wind and the occasional rumble of thunder - so do excuse the windswept look I appear to be sporting! And what better background that some bold, Toronto graffiti to be a perfect contrast for this very simple outfit. My go to for a cold ‘summer’ day!

White jeans are a bit of a classic and go with everything. A different grey tee for every mood? Check. Galaxy print shoes? Why not. Throw on my trusty denim jacket I found tucked away in the back of a charity shop and I’m good to go.

But seriously. Summer in Toronto is not meant to resemble summer in England. Rain rain go away. Summer; we're expectant.

Guess Who's Back... Back Again // OOTD

Dungarees // Missguided
Chelsea Boots // New Look
Black Tee // Primark
Necklace // H&M

Welllllllll holla!

So it’s currently been 15 months & 24 days since my last blog post. If that’s not slacking I don’t know what is. Life has changed a lot in that apparently short amount of time. I am no longer living in beautiful Bath, and instead exploring the delightful adventure of residing in crazy, wonderful Toronto and am interning at the ever fabulous Catch The Fire church in the Events department.

I took a break from blogging for more than one reason.
  1. Insecurity
  2. Lack of motivation
  3. Lack of a photographer
Well, no more! this is it. I want to give this my time, my effort and my best. And we’ll see where this adventure leads. One other change… Little Rose is no more. I thought, with a new start, comes a new name. So welcome, Rozzi May. (So original).

If you crazies are still following me after all this time, then I can do nothing but thank you from the bottom of my heart, and promise some content that I hope you’ll enjoy.

'Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking' | OOTD

So sad to say this will probably be my last fashion post for the foreseeable future. Unless you guys are interested in seeing my sexy NHS sandals and crutches? Look out for many wish-lists though, even if I can't properly wear the clothes, I can still think about them, right? I have spent this afternoon watching The Devil Wears Prada, which is one of my favourite films of all time - hence the title today! Please continue to leave your blog links down below or on twitter (@LittleRoseRozzi) because I've got lots of spare time on my hands!

Skirt: Primark | Csmi Top: Topshop | Blazer: Primark | Shoes: Next
Okay, so I know it's not quite spring, however I can definitely pretend! I love the way this top compliments this skirt - the colours go so nicely together! I absolutely fell in love with this skirt when I saw it in Primark, I just don't think it looks as cheap as it is! It cost me £12, which was cheaper than the top! I know that this is more of a spring outfit, but I am seriously excited for the seasons to change, so yes, I'm dressing for it - even though I wore this with a big coat when I actually left the house... but the thought was there.

My Instagram Prints | Polargram

Polargram Instagram Prints
I always think having actual prints of photos is such a lovely thing to have. As amazing and easy as I think virtual photos are, I do miss flicking through a photo album or having actual photos to put up on the wall. A really great alternative to this is a Polaroid camera, (something I have lusted over for years!) but I just cannot justify spending money on it, especially as I know I won't take it 'out and about' with me as much as I will initially intend to, and therefore won't capture all the moments I want to treasure. Enter: Polargram!

For seriously easy peasy and inexpensive photo printing, I would highly recommend Polargram. At first, I only wandered on to their website to have a nosy - thinking that to have pictures printed would cost a bomb. 'Nuh-uh' ladies and gentlemen.

When you enter the site, it gives you the option to sign in, and gather your photos from Instagram, (a good way to do it as it removes any sizing issues). Simple really, they're all laid out there in front of you, and you click on the ones you'd like printed!

Pricing works like this; you can either choose 12, 24 or 48 prints, and thats £5, £7 or £10. And that includes delivery. And a Drumstick sweet.  I chose 24 prints for £7, as I didn't quite want 48, (However in hindsight I may as well have gone with double the amount of prints for only £3 extra!) My prints then arrived very quickly, which I was not expecting, and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the prints I received!

However, there is only one thing I would note... The photos I had chosen that had an Instgram filter over were considerably lower in quality. Not bad quality, just not as good. This is more than often noticeable on Instagram before even entering Polargram however - they can only print what they are given! So maybe something to bear in mind.

Will you be getting any prints done? Would you be interested in a post on how I'm going to put these up!?

Love, Rozzi xxx

You can follow my instagram here for a closer look at some of the pictures I printed!

My Mac Eyeshadow Palette | Quad

Top L-R: Cranberry | Amber Light
Bottom L-R: Naked Lunch | All That Glitters
Mac Eyeshadow Palette. Those words make my heart extremely excited, and my purse very anxious. At £6.50 for the palette, and £10 for each colour, this baby doesn't work out cheap, however I received some vouchers for Mac for my birthday, and so my long desired Mac Palette was born. I opted for two neutral colours, and then two a little bolder, so I think I have a nice mixture of everything!

Cranberry - Maybe more of a winter shade, but Cranberry is a really beautiful shade. A deep plummy/red, with a gorgeous shimmer running through it.

Amber Lights - A beautiful peachy/gold shade which I was assured would go nicely with my green eyes! Again, beautifully shimmery, and a perfect Amber shade.

Naked Lunch - A light, shimmery rose gold, perfect for an inner corner highlight or under the brow as a highlight as well.

All That Glitters - Quite possibly the most popular Mac eyeshadow, and the first on my list to get! All That Glitters is a beautiful nude shade, with an iridescent peachy/gold sheen to it.

All of the shades  are beautifully pigmented, and the longevity is great, but using a good primer underneath makes the colours pop even more, and reduces the already minimal fall down. Although it wasn't cheap, it is definitely an exciting investment, and I can't wait to build up my palette with more beautiful colours!

What do you think of Mac's eyeshadow palettes? Do you think they're worth the hype?

Lush | My Favourites

Lush is one of my all time favourite brands you can get on the high street, cheap prices for brilliant organic products, and products for everything you could want! Before I start, I should let you know that I have oily/combination spot prone skin, so a lot of the facial products are aimed to control this.

POPCORN LIP SCRUB: £5.50
ENZYMION MOISTURISER: £13.50
CUPCAKE FACE MASK: £5.95
AYESHA FACE MASK: £5.95
BIG SEA SALT SHAMPOO: £11.50
TEA TREE TONER WATER: £3.95
GREASE LIGHTNING SPOT TREATMENT: £5.95
Popcorn Lip Scrub
Okay so you could probably make this yourself, but for £5.50, I would rather just go for this popcorn scented delight for my lips. It helps buff away any dead or flaky skin on your lips, leaving a perfect base for a balm and then colour.

Enzymion Moisturiser
My everyday moisturiser, helps keep my oily skin at bay without drying out my dryish patches. It does have a smell, but it doesn't irritate my skin - however if you think this might be a problem for you, might be best to ask for a sample first!

Cupcake Facemask
Cupcake is a great face mask for unclogging pores and keeping your skin clear. It smells amazing, a mixture of chocolate and peppermint, which makes in a top choice to smear all over my face. It absorbs excess oil, and claims to keep breakouts at a minimum. I got about 3/4 uses of this mask, so for just under £6, I thought it was a bargain for the results.

Ayesha Facemask
Another great face mask, clay based this time, which helps leave skin radiant and refreshed by deep cleaning all your pores, leaving everything fresh and clean. Again at only £5.95 you can't go wrong, and you get a good 3 to 4 uses of this mask depending on how generously you apply it.

Big Sea Salt Shampoo
When I felt this product, I've got to say I was surprised at how big the segments of sea salt were and I thought it would make my hair dry and broken. However mixed with water, it in fact makes for the softest texture I've felt in an organic shampoo! It leaves my hair feeling nourished, with amazing volume, not to mention the incredible fresh smell! A new discovery, but already a favourite.

Tea Tree Toner Water
This product leaves my skin feeling clean, and tea tree has always been one of my favourite scents, and its antibacterial properties help keep spots at bay, which is big must for me! I use it whenever I feel like my skin needs refreshing, and my skin quite literally drinks this product up!

Grease Lightning Spot Treatment
This is a miracle product, the best spot treatment I've ever used, and one that actually works! The concept is, you put it on an active breakout, and it works to calm the spot, reducing the swelling and softening any redness.  It works slowly but effectively, and if you're willing to wait, it will not only reduce the spot itself, but any scarring as well.

So these are my favourite products from Lush! However I most definitely not done trying the whole shop. What are your favourites?

Next on my list: Skin Drink, R and B, Brazened Honey & Sea Spray.

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink | OOTD

Coat: Topshop | Dress: eBay | Heels: New Look
Just so you know, my foot hasn't made a miraculous recovery (waaa). These photos were taken prior to my little accident, but at least luckily I still have some blog posts to put up!

I fell in love with the ASOS smock dress in this print, but it sold out so quickly I didn't have a chance to order it! Then I found this gorgeous dress whilst searching through eBay, and although the shape isn't as lovely as the ASOS one, it was a good £20 cheaper and the print is very similar, if not the same! It goes really nicely with my Topshop coat, that I am using every excuse to wear at the moment, hence it's second feature on the blog already! All in all, this is a very simple & comfortable outfit, that I loved wearing.

I have one outfit post left to put up that I took before breaking my foot, so definitely expect more beauty posts over the next couple of weeks!

Loads of Love, Rozzi xxx
